The Swedish Railway (SJ) was one of our first clients
In June of 2008 SJ changed uniforms. This was a result of an intensive job where we at Uniformskonsulten had a central role. Among many things we contributed with the following:

– A large network of contacts to develop the uniform from the sketch stage to finished patterns and technical specifications

– Choice of appropriate materials

– Our knowledge of internal support procedures

– Producing specifications and parts of the tender documents related to textiles

– Evaluation of incoming tenders, primarily with focus on parts related to textiles

– Final development together with the chosen supplier to ascertain the desired design, fit, and level of quality of the uniform

SJ has also realized that they can attain much longer life of the uniform if it is developed continuously. Therefore we contribute with our knowledge within the company’s clothing
advisory council. The group consists of representatives for the users and the different unions involved. We meet three or four times a year.
